Each of Ragnars prints starts with the original transparency as created in the camera, with Mamyia RZ67, Mamiya 7, Fuji GSW690III, Noblex 6x12cm panoramic or Cambo wide cameras with variety of lenses.
To insure the highest quality scan each transparency is scanned at high optical resolutions using a Scitex, Ever Smart Supreme scanner to capture every detail and nuance.
After the scan is done, the digital image is loaded into high-end Macintosh workstation with a calibrated monitor to retouch all “artifacts” (dust and traditional flaws) and to do any fine tune, color adjustment in Adobe Photoshop.
When Ragnar is satisfied with the image on the monitor the digital file is exported to a Cymbolic Sciences Lightjet 5000 digital enlarger. The image is then exposed onto Fuji Crystal Archive color paper using red, green and blue lasers. The result is an exquisite archive quality print with a clarity and color gamut that, until recently, has not been available to the photographer. The archival quality of this photographic medium is phenomenal.  Your limited edition print will have deep rich colors and incredible sharpness that will not fade or dull at all in 60 to 70+ years.  Crystal Archive has a beautiful glossy finish that makes a stunning finished product.
Each print is signed by Ragnar Th.
